hey,
so, i found out yesterday that we did not get the apartment we are hoping for. in this situation, i feel certain that not speaking the language really hurt me. the manager with which we were working spoke only german, and although we were qualified, the language barrier was stronger (that's just a feeling though). so, we found a long term sublet that we are really actively trying to get. i think it becomes available in two or three weeks, so we would have to find another place to live in the meantime...
