Hi Mama and Dan!!!
i am sitting in the lobby of the mercure hotel right next to Tegel airport... dad and i had quite an adventure getting here. when we got off the plane we were happy to see that our luggage would come out right where we walked off the plane, so we waited and waited... nothing! they lost our luggage in heathrow! so we had to wait in line for 2 hours to claim the loss! we were so miserable... finally we found out that we would only have to wait until morning and that they would deliver our bags to us... pretty sweet. they also supplied us with toiletries to compensate, which was cool. we got a bunch of stuff including a one time use toothpaste, a little tube literally half an inch long! when we settled in to the room, we decided we were hungry (by this time it was around 11pm in berlin) and we went down to the restaurant where we both had some very very good german food... i had meatballs and potatoes and dad had weinerschnitzel... amazing...
I didn't sleep through the night, i woke up at about 3:30 am and never got back to sleep, BUMMER! dad is still snoozing right now, haha.
I can't wait to talk to you both on the phone, and I miss you guys SO much already!

p.s. the keyboards here are complely different because they have keys like ö, ä, ü, ß, €, etc... and the y and the z have switched places, which i think is weird, but funny...
