turkey day...

Our dinner was really nice! Ben cooked the turkey using dad's method... aka hotter oven and more liquid and he said it worked really well. he also made green bean casserole, stuffing, red cabbage, mashed potatoes and gravy all from scratch... which was awesome! Of course, it was not the same being away from all the family, but ben, sam and i bonded over our first thanksgivings away from home. i think sam was really happy that we did it too!

miss you all! hope you had fun hanging out with grandpa and crew!

p.s. did dan try the turkey?
