Ours was really good! We all had a good time eating, talking, and watching Casino Royale. Dad's new appetizer mussels were a big hit; his turkey with veges, dressing, shallot mashed potato were as great as ever; and Dan made his smooth-tasting pumpkin pies. I made garlic bread (to go with mussels), pecan pie and salad. Dad also made the banana dessert, but I botched the whipping cream, which never rose properly before collapsing. It made me mad, so I grabbed Dad at midnight to go to the store to buy cool whip. So we really missed your banana dessert, Amanda! The next day I made a big pot of turkey soup with sweet potato, carrots, celery, cabbage, and topped with cilantro...came out quite nice!
