Hi Guys,
I talked to Uncle Eric, and he confirmed what I had suspected. Their grandma passed away from an infection she developed in the senior care facility - similar to what happened to Tai Gung. After her fall, she was recovering from her hair-line fracture, but apparently her immune system was badly depleted. Senior care facilities are VERY questionable!
Eric seems OK and he asked me to call Tiffany next week. They are very busy with funeral service and burial procedure this weekend. (She will be buried not cremated.) Eric also said that it was something they were prepared for by the doctor as soon as she got the infection.
Maybe you guys can send your sympathy to your cousins on Facebook or something.
