my friend lisette is coming to stay with us for three nights this week. She is on exchange in London now so it is just a skip away. i am really looking forward to seeing her, she was the best friend that I made at the Getty.
As for me, since the weather has been horrible lately we have mostly stayed in besides working. I have now finished making two table cloths for our flat and am using the extras for making a bag. I have also been working on the photographs from Bens grandma and have slowly started putting them online. If you want to see them they are on my flickr photostream or at this blog:
As of now the images on the blog are very old so what you would see is Ken and Heather which are Ben's grandparents, Garry Ben's dad as a baby, and Danny Ben's uncle.
But in bigger news, which I was going to tell you over the phone, we just heard that Ben's mom is getting a divorce from Ben's step dad Neil. It is pretty out of the blue on our end but according to her they were just fundamentally different and they mutually split up. We can tell it is hard on Sharon so we are trying to be as supportive as we can be being this far away. She is still planning to visit in May with her sister and mom so that should be good for her.
