just writing to say hello! today was an ugly day in berlin... alternating rain and snow so the whole city was slush. I had work though so my day was mostly occupied.
in great news, ben got his dream job! he was hired a couple days ago at a place called Soluna Brot und Ol which is an artisan bakery. The bakery and owner were in a new documentary called Food Inc. that was a featured film at the Berlin film festival... so cool! Ben is so happy that he is finally a baker. He wants to keep both jobs as long as his schedule can be normal all together. On his first day he brought home a giant loaf of bread for free! we are still eating it, haha.
we also just found out our friends mike and leslie will not be able to come visit us because of moola... cant blame them. because they do freelance work, they just could not line up enough jobs. oh well...
