Hope you're doing well...

Hi My Beloved,

I hope you are having a great day!

I am just thinking about you, being out there taking care of yourselves, facing challenges, meeting deadlines, (dodging the swine flu), and moving up the totem pole. You must be so proud of yourselves!! I hope whatever you are doing gives you joy and satisfaction, although it may not be instant gratification. As your mama, I am so very proud of you!!

In the midst of your hard work, don't forget to take care of your body. I know I sound like a broken record, but I can't help it but to worry - you came out of my body, although long time ago... Given the increased cases of flu (swine and seasonal), it's crazy if you don't wash your hands all the time, drink water frequently, get adequate sleep and physical activities, eat nutritiously, take vitamins, cut back or quit bad habits, etc. All of these things affect your immune system; a comprised one allows viruses to easily attack it. (Grandma Beth caught a wild case of the swine flu a few weeks ago and also has a lot of respiratory problems. I worry about her!)

If you are doing these things regularly, that's great! If not, make them part of your life style. Work them in your everyday life. A healthy body lets you do more and enjoy life for a much longer time.

I'll get off my soap box now...

Dan, we are going to Isabel's wedding this weekend, driving, leaving Saturday at the crack of dawn and returning Sunday night. It'd be nice if you send Isabel/Steve a nice message on facebook or something. We'll see you home in about 4 weeks!!! Good luck with the schoolwork and crew till then.

Love you very much,
Mama
